Putting it all together

The final goal that I have for this workshop is to show you options for uploading your classroom content to the World Wide Web. You may decide not to do this right now, which is fine, but if you are interested here are a few options.

1. Create a blog at www.edublogs.org

Check out mine at http://juliekimball.edublogs.org/

2. Use www.thinkport.org to start your own website

Take a look at Brian Ansel’s: http://members.thinkport.org/ansel_ndms

3. Use your Internet Service Provider (ISP) at home to host your own website

Art Renkwitz’s site: http://www.fastol.com/~renkwitz/

Dan Sanford’s site with Verizon: http://mysite.verizon.net/vze8laes/

Just remember, Rome was not built in a day! All of this takes time, but if you start now you will be much closer to finishing than you were this morning…
